The official Red Book is and has always been the most up to date and accurate collection of retail prices for all U.S. coins. It covers every U.S. coinage ever made including gold coins, commemoratives, tokens, bullion coins, proof and mint sets. This is the only book you’ll need to put a retail value to your collection.

This book is the definitive coin book each and every year. Does not give currency information or foreign coin info, but for US coins it is simply the best.

The guide book is one of those things that you buy before making a coin purchase. Best way to know what you are buying. A note on Amazon.com: Two days after placing my order, I was reading the email that my item had shipped. That is when the doorbell rang and the book was there. Way to Go, Amazon staff!

The Red Book is a collection of quick bits of history, illustrations, & price guides of U.S. coins. The saying goes “Read The Book” before you “Buy The Coin”. This simple phrase has answered the myriad variables that go into numismatics. Considering how many coins that have been minted it’s nice to have a ready resource. It has helped me many times deciding which coin to buy or which is best between 2 or 3 items. Published annually I can determine if the interest is up or down from last year. Sincerely, Danny Kolibas
